We have some more details for our annual year-end seminar, dinner, and celebration honoring Soke’s birthday. Here’s the skinny:
Format
Our Ko-Daikomyosai seminar is taught by each black belt in attendance in turn, from most senior to the most wet-behind-the-ears.*
Date and Time
Saturday, December 14
Training:
12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
Dinner:
Exact time still TBD, but prior years’ dinners have begun around 7:00 or 8:00—the plan is always to give people time to get changed, pick up significant others, etc.
Location
Training:
At the dojo. If you’ve never been to visit before, please contact us for directions.
Dinner:
Location is in the works.
Cost
Training:
$40 per person if you pay by Friday, December 6th.
$50 per person after December 6th.
Dinner:
While we don’t know the restaurant yet, we do know we’ll be making the same arrangements as recent years—no set banquet price and a menu with some variety to it, to try to accommodate both those on tight budgets and those who’re thinking of splurging.
Registration
You can pay in person at the dojo ahead of time or at the door.
Please make checks out to “Atlanta Bujinkan.”
If you want to register by mail, remember to send it early enough that your letter arrives well before the day of the seminar. Include your name, a phone number and email where we can contact you, and if you’re not a member of the dojo, the name of your teacher and home dojo.
