Folks,
I’ve wrangled WordPress into displaying the titles of the five most recent posts on the homepage. It’s been high on our to-do list; having a homepage that shows the latest news does a lot to make a site feel lived in. It’s like making sure the lights are on and the newspapers aren’t piling up on the step, and should help out the folks who aren’t on Facebook or in class to hear the announcements.
Next up: If you are a current green- or black-belt member of the dojo and don’t have a log-in for the website, then just let me know that you’d like one—in class, by my email (if you have it), or through the contact form. In addition to the announcements visible to the public, we’re also posting (a small amount of) members-only info, like maps for the camping trip and review schedules, that you’ll need to be logged in to see. We’re also seeking suggestions for content to try to add later on, so feel free to send that via the online or real-world suggestion boxes, too.
